*Pure Veg and Jain friendly restaurant.
Must try: Cheese paper Dosa, Chettinad masala dosa, Curd rice, Filter coffee
Ambience:
A place which has bright interiors with green tables. This place is very clean and quiet. It has south indian culture touch which makes you feel good. You will find waiters in authentic South Indian dresscode and they will explain you how the dish is prepared if you ask them.
Food:
As we were in an authentic south Indian restaurant, we decided not to order apart from south indian food. So we ordered a cheese paper dosa, Chettinad masala dosa(jain) and filter coffee.
Cheese paper dosa: Amazed to see the size and the way it was being served on two plates at the ends. It was served with sambhar and chutney. As u take a bite of the dosa you can taste the heavenly cheese. The sambhar was very tasty.
Chettinad Masala Dosa: This is a spicy dosa which has a stuffing made from the boiled raw banana cooked with special Chettinad masala and coconut. It was different and yummy.
Filter Coffee: It was typical south Indian filter coffee with right amount of coffee and sugar.
Note: They have a wide variety of idlis which is our next goal to try. We will update this as and when we visit the place again.
Service: The staff is very courteous and helpful in explaining the dishes because the name of the dishes are typical south Indian name and you will be clueless what the dish is about.
The place is very good and worth for the time and the money you invest in visiting it..!!
