A Halo…!! Jaiye Sev khamani khaava..!!
This is how we reacted when we were craving for some Gujarati breakfast on early Sunday Morning.
The only place that striked our mind was ‘Santosh Roxy snacks’ near charni road (khau galli, Tata Road no. 2) which serves this sweet, tangy khamani (made from broken khaman and given a tadka of mustard seeds and curry leaves) with crunchy sev (thin noodles made from chickpea flour or besan), chopped coriander leaves and fired Chillis on …it. Ummm… It was so yummy that we couldn’t resist ordering the second one. They serve it hot which enhances the taste.
This Sev Khamni which costs you ₹20 is a pure Delight and makes your tongue happy.
